On 24th October Friday, 5:45-6.:30pm at Cuckoo Park, Hanwell, The Alan Winner Academy is holding a free tai chi and qi gong teaching and exercising event, as part of Wear It Pink national campaign.

The public event is to raise the public’s awareness for the breast cancer challenges we are facing with.

Researchers from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center have found qigong, an ancient mind-body practice, reduces depressive symptoms and improves quality of life in women undergoing radiotherapy for breast cancer.

If you live nearby Hanwell, welcome to pop in. The session can be a good introduction to meditation, tai chi for total beginners.

You will learn the basics of both Qigong and Tai Chi at the event, as Qigong is an integral part in Tai Chi. If you are interested to know more about how Qigong therapy works for cancer patiences, we are here to answer your enquiries.
