Tai Chi, Qigong and Meditation classes
Why we teach Tai Chi, Qigong and Meditation all together
At the Academy we offer a class with a complete set of Meditation, Qigong and Tai Chi. We believe these three techniques will help you to build a solid foundation of internal strength and physical heath. Through the combined training of Meditation, Qigong and Tai Chi, your body, mind and soul will reach the highest level of consciousness. The three techniques work as three layers.
Meditation is the first layer, Qigong the second, and Tai Chi the third. These three layers form the foundation of Chinese Martial Art or any other activity you want to develop on top of it. Meditation is the connection between the conscious and the subconscious. It helps the individual to be in harmony with oneself and surrounding, to discover the true self.
Qigong is based on the science of energy flow in human body. It is the key to unlock the hidden power in the human body. Through the exercises, you are able to improve the energy pattern of the physical body. Qigong exercises are proven to cure thousands of diseases and are beneficial for strengthening one’s immune system and increase one’s internal energy.
The third layer is Tai Chi. Tai chi is a continuous flowing movements, through which you learn to be relaxed and gain internal strength. Tai Chi is also one of the best exercises for the elderly, read more here. The Academy teaches the Yang style Tai Chi long form and the traditional Chen style Tai Chi form.
The combined exercises of Meditation, Qigong and Tai Chi, benefit our mental and physical health, keeping the mind clear, body young and spirit high.
These help you to find a path to self-discovery, have a clearer mind of what you want in life, make the right decisions and gain more strength to handle what life throws at us.
