Wushu | ||||
| Competitive Wushu is China's national sport, regulated by the IWuF. It consists out of hand forms (long fist boxing and southern style) and weapon forms (swords, stick, spear). There are various hand techniques and jumping high kicks. The Academy's wushu team has had great results in National and international competitions: Barzo Dosky: 6 times British Champion. Bronze European Youth Championships. Salie Lewi:5 times British and Belgian Champion, 5th place in European Championships (Qiang Shu & Jian Shu) Our Junior British Champions are: David Kanapinskas, Mantas Kanapinskas Sabrina Ossman Zhara Bedford-Higgs Ahmed Khaleq Jakomo Sharpe |
